Meeting Rooms
Sports House offers community meeting space for hire which can be used for training, coaching, workshops, meetings, corporate events, and general community activities.
Meeting rooms can also be used for indoor recreational activities such as group exercise, yoga, pilates, tai chi and martial arts.
The Community Meeting space includes operable wall partitioning allowing it to be divided into two separate rooms, along with a fully accessible kitchen and food preparation area.

The 'DECK' Meeting area comes with use of kitchen facilities.

Today, Lend Lease’s $4.5 million South Bay Sports House stands tall in the landscape. Its contemporary design is striking; the lightweight cladding, corrugated skillion roof and glass louvres offer a distinctly Queensland take on traditional ‘boathouse’ architecture.
Ownership has transferred to the council and VLCL manages day-to-day operations, working from the new facility under a 15-year lease. A dedicated Operations Manager, funded by tenants using the facility’s offices, administers commercial tenancies and allocates storage licences to clubs.
